Dance Workshop has been leading the charge on Long Island for over four decades and decided to expand to NYC back in 2016. Why? Because we are passionate about serving and cultivating community and most importantly guiding and supporting children, teens, young adults, and their families. Everything we do here at Dance Workshop is designed with children at the forefront. Our mission is to foster an environment where students can be engaged in academics, extra curricular activities, leadership opportunities through school clubs, while also dancing at a high level!
From a Mommy+Me class to Hip-Hop for teens and everything in between; we do it all here at Dance Workshop. Some of our students pursue a more recreational experience; while others may choose to take their training to the next level with the ambitions to dance on the collegiate or even professional level. You let us know what you are looking for and we will provide the roadmap. We are striving to bring excellence to our dancers and their families; and no matter what the goal, offer them the best!
Our competitive Company experience at Dance Workshop is not to be missed! We are delivering world class opportunities to train, learn, and perform with the best at the highest level. Company dancers are exposed to community events, top New York City Competitions & Conventions, Jumbotron moments on the fields of MLB, courts of the NBA, and halls of the NHL.
Our new home at 30 East 60th Street between Park & Madison Avenues has proven to be our dreamiest vision for Dance Workshop yet. The studio is street level and opens to a spacious lobby that feeds into six new dance rooms. Each room will boast high ceilings, industrial finishes, beautiful wood and marley floors, and state of the art sound systems. In the meantime, you can find us at 330 East 59th Street between 1st & 2nd Avenues.
Our staff who feel more like family, yet have the experience only New York City dance professionals possess. They are coming to you to bring unparalleled dance education. With credits from top collegiate dance programs, professional semesters, Broadway, Radio City Rockettes, and Ballet & Modern companies, our faculty is well seasoned and more importantly, loves children as much as we do.
